Room for the Away

On what was supposed to be one of the most exciting days of the year, the only thing I got to do was write a test. No dinner....no going out....nothing. But that wasn't the worse part. The moment I stepped outside, into the rather warm air, amidst the lights of all the surrounding buildings, the only thing I could think of was.........HK. On this night, everybody would be with their families and going out to have fun. Here I was, walking alone on the almost empty streets, listening to a song about a one-sided relationship. Why am I not there?

No matter how far you go or how long you've been away, there's no place like home.
Home...is not the place you live...but the place you came from.
You might not know much about that place, but you'll alway love it.
