I will never ask anyone about personal things, unless I can feel that they want me to. It is not that I don't care, but because these questions were never meant to be asked. If somebody wants you to know something, they will tell you without you asking. It might take some time, but if they really wanted you to know, they will eventually tell you when they are ready. If they do not say anything and you have to ask about it, then they never wanted you to know in the first place.
