If Only You Knew...
"If only you knew......"
So many times you've used this phrase....and so many times I have thought it.
Sometimes I wonder.....are there things we are afraid to say?...or there are just some things that no words can describe?
Perhaps it is a little bit of both.
"If only you knew......" you say. I am not as considerate as you are. I have not been through as much as you have. And I have never had such strong feelings for anyone else before. Perhaps I really don't understand what you're feeling......

There are things that we are afraid to say, because we fear that they might back-fire.
There are things that we are afriad to hear, for we know it would hurt.
There are things that no words can describe, because they can only be felt with the heart.
'If only you knew...' - precisely because you really do know, feel, and understand, that you are no longer immuned from the sorrows of life.
'If only you knew......how much it hurts to know that....'
