Room for the Pessimistic

Life is often unfair, harsh and very hard to deal with. On any particular day, it seems that a million things go wrong and nothing ever works to your advantage. Work comes by the truckload and seems never-ending.

Because of this, many people have the tendency to always expect the worse. At times, this makes things a lot easier. Since you expect the worse, everything appears to be pretty good. But just as you found out, life isn't that bad after all. Sometimes, things do go your way. Once in a while, there are good surprises.
